• Proficiency in preparing all kinds of media, reagents, and stains
• Ability to analyze laboratory findings accurately
• Skilled in conducting parasitological and serological analysis of urine and blood
• Capability to check the accuracy of results
• Experience in processing all routine microbiological samples
• Competence in antibiotic susceptibility processing
• Ability to perform basic microbiology reporting of all routine cultures
• Experience in calibrating and operating all instruments in the microbiology lab
• Proficiency in running quality controls daily and EQA
• Ability to inform all abnormal results to the related doctor or consultant
• Knowledge of sample retention according to SOPs
• Skill in instructing and training juniors and trainees
• Ability to issue reports
• Understanding of test rejection criteria if required
• Knowledge of sample rejection on certain criteria prescribed in SOPs
• Ability to repeat tests if required
• Awareness of daily consumption of inventory

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare all kinds of media, reagents, and stains
• Analyze laboratory findings
