Skills
- Experience in monitoring and evaluation, accountability, and data management specifically related to GFATM/Malaria
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collect program data on provided templates and ensures data consistency for consolidation
- Perform monitoring visits for data validation/verification and offer technical assistance to guarantee error-free data recording
- Maintain a district-level database of reported data as a backup
- Monitor the process of community mobilization
- Establish, manage, and enhance Accountability to Beneficiaries mechanisms at the district level, including training partner organizations
- Conduct regular field monitoring of program interventions at the district level and produce monitoring reports following the specified format, conduct debrief sessions with implicated program staff, and formulate an agreed-upon action plan
- Conduct follow-up monitoring visits to execute actions agreed upon in the action plan, additionally maintaining a ‘Monitoring-Action Plan Tracker’ at the field level
- Participate in monthly cluster/review meetings
- Manage the Complaint and Feedback Mechanism at the district level to facilitate beneficiaries/communities in registering complaints and sharing feedback
- Maintain a complaints and feedback tracking database and follow up on complaints to reach a resolution involving pertinent project/program staff
- Assist the Provincial M&E Officer in determining key compliance/quality questions based on checklists and minimum standards for monitoring project performance
- Support SR and SSRs in reviewing databases and data tracking tools to maintain data quality for gathering reliable and consistent data, meeting GFATM's minimum reporting requirements
- Assist in performing baseline surveys, monitoring and evaluation exercises, and impact assessments when needed
- Perform any additional tasks as directed by the line manager
