Skills

• Coordinate with pharmacists to ensure proper handover protocols are followed
• Provide daily reports to Assistant Manager/Manager Pharmacy Services
• Supervise the unit-dose drug dispensation and distribution
• Review patients’ profiles and CPOE
• Contact physicians regarding order in-accuracy or medicine non-availability
• Ensure requisitions are issued and filled accurately
• Monitor and manage inventory stock levels
• Prepare and forward requisitions to Pharmacy store
• Receive, check, and shelve stock
• Provide current and accurate drug information
• Maintain records of drug information
• Provide monthly reports of all stock
• Arrange inspections and monitor storage
• Provide technical and administrative support
• Provide trainings for staff
• Ensure high alert medications are labeled
• Prepare and present on various topics for CMEs
• Document and provide management details of all interventions
• Ensure temperatures are monitored
• Provide management with regular updates and monthly KPI reports
• Performing all related tasks assigned

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise drug dispensation and distribution
• Monitor patient's profiles and CPOE
• Contact with physicians regarding order inaccuracies
• Manage inventory stock levels
• Prepare and forward requisitions to the pharmacy store
• Provide drug information to health care professionals
• Maintain the drug information records
• Monthly stock reporting
• Arrange inspections of nursing units
• Provide support and conduct relevant training
