• Proficiency in medication dispensing and review
• Ability to manage pharmacy inventory and storage
• Skills in clinical and specialized area support
• Capability to provide drug information and documentation
• Experience with patient counseling and adherence support
• Familiarity with sterile area Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Knowledge of temperature monitoring and equipment maintenance
• Ability to review requisitions and document interventions
• Understanding of Computerized Provider Order Entry (CPOE) systems

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure proper handling of pharmacy charge and timely dispensing of medications
• Review patient profiles and CPOE systems to prevent drug interactions
• Contact prescribing physicians for medication order discrepancies and document interventions
• Process Non-Formulary Item (NFI) requests when necessary
• Monitor inventory stock levels and assist in managing requisitions
• Receive goods from the warehouse, verifying details and ensuring proper storage
• Maintain temperature monitoring and documentation for pharmaceutical storage
• Provide patient counseling on therapy adherence and required lab monitoring
• Conduct bedside visits for direct patient care and drug utilization reviews in the ER
• Ensure adherence to sterile area SOPs and protocols in inpatient and OR pharmacies
• Prepare and supply baskets according to requested surgeries
• Provide drug information to healthcare professionals and maintain records
• Complete KPI and stock cover sheets during each shift
