Duties and Responsibilities:

Move patients between wards, departments, and treatment areas using wheelchairs or beds and assist them with mobility challenges
Transport linen, waste, essential items and documents to the correct locations in good condition
Handle and dispose of clinical and general waste, adhering to safety protocols and infection control guidelines
Transport samples (Blood/urine) to laboratory after informing area in-charge following SOPs
Follow personal hygiene protocols
Ensure cleanliness of the workplace, including dusting of beds, mattresses, tables, trays, wardrobes, sofas, and other surfaces
Respond promptly to emergency requests
Sort and hand out linen, helping nurses with the removal of unclean linen and bed sheets if needed
Handover tasks properly to the next shift during shift changes
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor
