Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and family counseling for both inpatient and outpatient care
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions (therapies, counseling) for inpatient consultation patients
  • Visit IPD for patients experiencing mild to severe conditions
  • Provide assessment, counseling, and therapies to patients and their families using quantitative and qualitative psychological tests
  • Conduct or assist in inpatient education sessions and patient support groups
  • Design classes and group sessions to teach adult and pediatric populations about specific topics and common coping strategies
  • Design mental health awareness events and activities for healthcare workers
  • Train staff through seminars and workshops
  • Train and supervise volunteers and interns undertaking clinical internships
  • Conduct research and research-based activities
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for referring patients internally and to other organizations
  • Design pathways to receive patients from other departments
  • Develop OPD and IPD consultation SOPs
