Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure ongoing accreditation is attained and all related documentation is up-to-date for auditing by SHCC/PHCC and JCI Accreditation
  • Implement and support new quality initiatives vital for the network's standards
  • Assist in coordinating accreditation and reaccreditation processes
  • Support the implementation of Continuous Quality Improvement Initiatives, including patient safety programs and clinical indicator analysis
  • Conduct reviews on assigned areas utilizing the Indicators Monitoring System (IMS)
  • Participate in site visits to facilities to support quality management programs
  • Assist in training staff from various facilities in Quality Management techniques
  • Conduct Quality Management Workshops as directed
  • Participate in focus studies in conjunction with departments and other Directorates
  • Coordinate Quality Management Activities to maximize staff expertise
  • Prepare reports on the Quality Management Program and compliance for assigned facilities
  • Provide operational support including concurrent reviews and committee assignments
  • Review and analyze the Clinical Incident Reporting System, identifying trends and sentinel events
  • Maintain databases and coordinate reporting on the Medication Safety program
  • Assist in conducting Patient Medical Record Audits
  • Assist in developing and reporting on Clinical Pathways
