Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with The Insurance Ordinance, The Companies Act 2017, Listing Regulations, CCG 2016 & 2019, AML/CFT laws, Takaful laws, and the Rules and Regulations made thereunder
• Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Liaise with regulators, auditors, and internal departments on compliance matters
• Conduct compliance risk assessments and submit periodic reports to management/Board/Committee
• Arrange compliance trainings and awareness sessions for staff
• Develop and implement the Company's Enterprise Risk Management
• Identify, assess, and monitor strategic, operational, financial, underwriting, and compliance risks
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements of SECP and applicable insurance regulations
• Establish risk appetite statements, risk registers for reporting to management/Board/Committee
• Coordinate with Internal Audit, Compliance, Actuarial, and Underwriting departments for effective risk mitigation
