• Conducting daily ward rounds
• Accurate recording of patient progress in HMIS system

• Receiving and acting upon handover reports from alternative RMOs
• Observing surgical procedures when agreed with consultants
• Performing medical procedures within competence level as advised by consultants
• Regular liaison with nursing staff regarding patient progress
• Discussing discharge medication and writing discharge summaries
• Maintaining patient medical information confidentiality
• Providing urgent medical attention to staff or visitors in emergencies
• Remaining on hospital premises during duty hours
• Ensuring continuous cover until replacement is found
• Compliance with all hospital policies and procedures, including Health and Safety
• Maintaining effective interpersonal relationships with staff, patients, and families
