- Proficiency in documenting important clinical findings
- Capability to respond immediately to emergency calls
- Skill in performing daily ward rounds with ward MO and staff
- Competence in advising or changing medication according to clinical status
- Adherence to consultant instructions
- Proficiency in performing clinical procedures as advised by consultants
- Ability to prescribe take-home medications
- Familiarity with all relevant procedures and equipment
- Ensuring proper and correct usage of procedures and equipment
- Expertise in resuscitation of newborns in NICU/Labor room
- Ability to admit patients if needed
- Skill in referring newborns requiring immediate surgical procedures or ventilator support
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for taking complete brief history and physical examination of admitted patients
- Document important clinical findings accurately
- Respond immediately to all emergency calls
- Perform daily ward rounds with the ward Medical Officer and staff
- Advise or change medication based on the patient's clinical status
- Follow instructions provided by consultants
- Perform clinical procedures as advised by consultants
- Prescribe take-home medications when necessary
- Visit all admitted patients daily, in addition to requests from nursing staff
- Ensure familiarity with all relevant procedures and equipment
- Ensure proper and correct usage of procedures and equipment
- Perform resuscitation of newborns in NICU/Labor room after SVD/LSCS
- Admit newborns if needed
- Refer newborns requiring immediate surgical procedures or ventilator support
