Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive shipments, ensuring quality and quantity verification
- Interact with third-party logistics service providers
- Audit freight costs and associated documentation
- Ensure accuracy of all inventories and update shipment information
- Create packing lists and maintain electronic and manual records
- Monitor and facilitate repair orders and coordinate deliveries for returned items
- Ensure sufficient warehouse space for incoming deliveries and proper item numbering/tagging
- Reconcile hand receipts and manage warehouse security tasks
- Ensure regular supply of medical items to health centers, preventing stockouts
- Maintain stock tracking mechanisms at the health facility level
- Manage fleet, assets, and inventory at district and health facility levels
- Provide support in monthly meetings and ensure stock registers are updated
- Produce monthly and quarterly reports on stock, expiry, temperature, and humidity
- Generate demand for medical supplies based on consumption reports
- Maintain a comprehensive record section within the warehouse
- Dispose of damaged items as per SOPs and manage slow-moving stock
- Manage the quarantine section for short expiry and expired stock
- Perform any other assigned tasks by the supervisor
