Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To lead the development and enhancement of SME financing products, programs, and policy frameworks aligned with business strategy and regulatory guidelines of the State Bank of Pakistan
  • To design SME product structures including working capital, trade finance, seasonal financing, and specialized schemes, ensuring alignment with target segments and sectoral priorities
  • To formulate and periodically review SME credit policies, product programs, and eligibility criteria to ensure consistent, clarity, and risk alignment
  • To conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and portfolio analysis to identify product gaps and introduce innovative SME financing solutions
  • To collaborate with Risk, Credit, Compliance, and Business teams to ensure all policies and product programs are robust, compliant, and aligned with the Bank's risk appetite
  • To evaluate regulatory changes and industry developments to proactively update policies and design compliant, future-ready SME product frameworks
  • To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)
  • To oversee and manage the SME General Financing portfolio, including working capital, trade-related, and general-purpose financing while ensuring balanced growth and strong asset quality
  • To drive portfolio performance in alignment with approved targets, sectoral limits, risk parameters, and profitability objectives set by management
  • To review and assign credit proposals, supervise credit analysts, ensure quality credit analysis, ensure quality and coordinate with RMG for timely approvals and resolution of credit-related matters
  • To monitor portfolio utilization, yield generation, concentration risks, and overall performance to ensure portfolio sustainability and growth
  • To support the Wing Head in setting annual business targets, portfolio strategy and sectoral allocation plans for SME Financing
  • To support policy review, dissemination of procedures and implementation of credit guidelines across SME operations
  • To facilitate capacity building of field staff through training, coaching and technical guidance on SME credit practices
  • To manage overall team performance including appraisal processes, turnaround time monitoring, and productivity improvement initiatives
  • To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)
  • To develop and execute the SME Collections & Recovery strategy aligned with portfolio quality objectives, risk appetite, and regulatory framework of the State Bank of Pakistan
  • To conduct regular portfolio reviews, delinquency trend analysis, and recovery performance tracking to identify gaps and implement corrective measures for improved recovery outcomes
  • To strengthen early warning systems and proactive monitoring mechanisms to identify stress signals and initiate timely corrective actions
  • To drive digitalization of SME collections through implementation of collection systems, dashboards, automated reminders, and analytics-driven strategies
  • To lead, mentor, and develop SME collections teams across regions to build a strong, performance-driven recovery culture and enhance recovery efficiency
  • To coordinate with credit, risk and legal functions to ensure effective resolution of non-performing exposures and recovery cases
  • To ensure compliance with SBP regulations, internal policies, and recovery guidelines in all collections and recovery activities
  • To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)
  • To develop and execute SME Marketing & Strategic Alliances strategy aligned with business growth objectives, brand positioning, customer contact, and regulatory guidelines
  • To lead the design and rollout of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, on-ground, and partner channels to enhance visibility of SME products and services, improve customer engagement and increase product penetration
  • To build and manage strategic partnerships with corporates, fintechs, aggregators, chambers of commerce, trade bodies, and ecosystem players to generate sustainable alliance-driven business opportunities
  • To conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and customer insights analysis to refine value propositions, strengthen brand visibility, and support targeted growth initiatives
  • To monitor marketing campaign performance and alliance outcomes, ensuring continuous improvements to maximize visibility, market presence, and business impact
  • To coordinate with internal stakeholders including product, credit, and operations teams to ensure alignment of marketing initiatives with business delivery capabilities
  • To ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and bank-wide branding standards across all marketing and all activities
  • To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)
  • To monitor PM productivity, performance, and efficiency metrics through structured dashboards and reporting tools
  • To track targets versus actual performance on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, highlighting key variances and trends
  • To identify underperforming regions, segments, and FMs, and recommend corrective actions for performance improvement
  • To design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboarding using Power BI or Excel for performance monitoring
  • To ensure timely updates of dashboards covering regional performance, RM productivity, and portfolio growth KPIs
  • To standardize reporting formats and ensure consistency across all regions and business units
  • To provide regular performance updates and actionable insights to Business Team and field leadership
  • To support regional teams in understanding KPIs, metrics, and dashboard interpretation for better decision-making
  • To coordinate with IT, Data, and Business teams to ensure seamless project delivery and alignment with business goals
  • To ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all dashboards and reports
  • To resolve data discrepancies proactively to maintain reliability of reporting systems
