  • Strong stakeholder coordination, leadership, & communication skills at all levels

  • Expertise in Power BI, Tableau, and SQL for ad-hoc reports and data analysis

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To lead strategy and execution of NBP's Digital Wallet platform, defining its product roadmap and ecosystem expansion
  • To oversee customer acquisition, retention, and engagement strategies for wallet users
  • To develop use cases, such as P2P transfers, bill payments, merchant payments, and Raast integration
  • To ensure alignment of wallet initiatives with NBP's digital transformation strategy
  • To collaborate with IT and Fintech partners to design and enhance wallet functionalities
  • To drive new features, including instant payments, digital onboarding, card integration, loyalty, and rewards
  • To oversee UI/UX improvements and ensure seamless digital customer journeys
  • To evaluate partnerships with fintech, aggregators, and telcos for ecosystem growth
  • To ensure the wallet platform meets SBP regulations, PCI-DSS, and cybersecurity standards
  • To implement fraud detection, risk management, and dispute resolution processes
  • To coordinate with Legal and Compliance teams for periodic audits and system updates
  • To forge partnerships with merchants, government programs, fintech, and payment gateways
  • To expand wallet use cases for salary disbursement, collections, and government payments
  • To drive collaborations with Raast P2M and other interoperable payment systems
  • To oversee operational performance, uptime, and customer support metrics
  • To manage wallet KPIs, transaction growth, revenue generation, and cost efficiency
  • To lead internal cross-functional coordination to ensure smooth execution
  • To build and mentor a team focused on wallet operations, product, and analytics
  • To establish a data-driven culture using insights to guide product improvements
  • To promote innovation and continuous improvement across the wallet ecosystem
  • To perform any other assignments as assigned by the supervisor(s)
  • To lead and oversee end-to-end operations of all digital payment channels, including POS, Raast P2M, Online Acquiring, and related ecosystems
  • To manage daily operational activities transaction processing, exception handling, reconciliation, and settlements
  • To ensure efficient onboarding of new merchants and timely activation of payment acceptance terminals
  • To develop and implement SOPs and operational workflows to enhance efficiency and compliance
  • To supervise merchant registration, documentation, and activation across acquiring platforms
  • To coordinate with aggregators, fintech, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely onboarding
  • To monitor merchant activity, transaction performance, and support retention through service quality improvements
  • To oversee settlement operations for all payment channels (POS, Raast, online, etc.) ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • To liaise with Finance, IT & ADC Operations to reconcile transactions and resolve discrepancies
  • To monitor settlement cycles and ensure compliance with SBP and internal audit requirements
  • To establish robust control mechanisms to mitigate financial risks
  • To ensure adherence to SBP, AML/KYC, and information security policies for all digital payment operations
  • To identify operational risks and coordinate with Risk & Compliance for mitigation and audit reviews
  • To maintain comprehensive documentation and reporting trails for all payment activities
  • To identify opportunities to automate manual workflows to improve accuracy and speed of operations
  • To work with IT and vendors to streamline system integrations and enhance transaction monitoring tools
  • To recommend improvements in payment reconciliation and settlement modules
  • To lead a team of officers and analysts managing digital payment operations
  • To develop performance KPIs and ensure timely achievement of operational goals
  • To prepare and present operational performance dashboards and reports to the Divisional Head
  • To promote teamwork, accountability, and process excellence within the department
  • To perform any other assignments as assigned by the supervisor(s)
  • To support the Wing Head in developing and executing the product roadmap for proximity payment solutions (QR, POS, NFC, Raast P2M)
  • To drive design and delivery of innovative, secure, and scalable payment products
  • To manage the full product lifecycle - ideation, requirement gathering, testing, rollout, and monitoring
  • To evaluate customer experience and market trends to propose product improvements
  • To ensure integration with the NBP digital wallet and other payment channels
  • To oversee operational readiness for proximity payment solutions
  • To coordinate with IT, Operations, Risk, and Compliance teams for product setup and enhancements
  • To ensure merchant and customer onboarding processes are smooth and efficient
  • To support resolution of operational issues and ensure timely delivery of features
  • To ensure all proximity payment products comply with SBP guidelines, AML/KYC, and security standards
  • To identify potential risks and support mitigation strategies across payment channels
  • To conduct product testing and audit readiness with relevant stakeholders
  • To work closely with fintech, aggregators, payment service providers, and internal stakeholders to enhance product capabilities
  • To coordinate cross-functional activities for new feature rollouts and ecosystem partnerships
  • To provide support in vendor management, RFPs, and implementation tracking
  • To track KPIs, such as transaction volume, active merchants, and product adoption rates
  • To prepare regular product performance and status reports for the Wing Head and Divisional Head
  • To use data-driven insights to identify growth opportunities and optimize performance
  • To supervise product analysts / officers within the proximity product team
  • To foster a collaborative, learning-oriented environment that encourages innovation
  • To promote alignment between business, technology, and regulatory functions
