Career Opportunities in Maritime and Management at PNSC

  • General Manager (Ship Management): Requires Certificate of Competency Class 1 (Motor) and minimum 3 years sailing experience on Foreign Going (FG) vessels. Shore-based experience in ship management, fleet, and crew management is preferred.
  • Manager (Marine, Safety, Quality & Environment) MSSQE: COC Class 1 (Master / Chief Engineer) with a minimum 1 year sailing experience as Captain / Chief Engineer on FG Vessels. Experience in ship management and survey is advantageous.
  • Manager (Workshop): Requires Certificate of Competency Class 1 (Motor) with at least 1 year sailing experience as Chief Engineer or 2nd Engineer, OR a BE in Mechanical/Mechatronics with 2 years relevant shore experience.
  • Superintendent Fleet (Bulk Carrier/Tanker): Needs Certificate of Competency Class 1 Deck, minimum 1 year sailing experience as Chief Officer/Master in the last 7 years on FG General Cargo/Tanker vessels. Marine Superintendent experience is a plus.
  • Deputy Manager (Ship Personnel Department): Requires Certificate of Competency (Deck/Engineer) with 2 years experience as Master/Chief Engineer COC 1st Class and Chief Officer 2nd Engineer, OR an MBA/MPA/BBA (HRM) from an HEC recognized institute with 2 years experience in handling HR matters.
  • Manager (Safety & Security): Must have a Master's/Bachelor's degree from an HEC recognized University or be a retired Armed Forces Officer. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in security management is essential.

Skills

  • Coordinate with law enforcement agencies and other external stakeholders
  • Able to handle emergencies and crisis response

  • Oversee technical operations, drydocking, and procurement of ship stores/spares
