Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) is seeking a Chief Legal Officer (CLO) to lead its legal operations. Skills

• Demonstrated leadership capacity and exposure
• Strong command over regulatory, corporate, commercial, labor, contractual, and procurement laws
• Strong understanding of NEPRA, SECP, PPRA, SOE Act 2023, and Companies Act 2017
• Extensive experience in drafting and vetting complex agreements
• Expertise in litigation management, arbitration, and dispute resolution
• Proven ability to develop and implement legal risk management frameworks
• Strong leadership, integrity, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with high proficiency in legal drafting and presentation in English

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Leading corporate legal teams, contract management, dispute resolution, regulatory matters, and strategic advisory
• Drafting and vetting complex agreements, including Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), MOUs, and EPC contracts
• Providing proactive, solution-oriented legal advisory to the Management and Board
• Ensuring compliance with legal regulations and industry standards
• Managing legal risks and providing strategic legal guidance
• Engagement with regulatory and judicial forums
