Community Health Worker Role in Karachi
Indus Hospital & Health Network is seeking dedicated Community Health Workers to join their Community Engagement Center (CEC) team in Karachi. This is a great opportunity for individuals with experience in healthcare and a passion for community service.- Location: Karachi, Sindh

- Essential Requirements: Matriculation or Intermediate education, local language fluency, community residency.

- Ability to explain procedures to patients ensuring comfort and cooperation
- Thorough understanding of equipment’s technical capabilities and limitations
- Adherence to radiation safety protocols
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct X-ray examinations as per physician instructions
- Liaise with the site supervisor and on-site field team to ensure a smooth workflow and maximize patient care throughout the process
- Ensure proper handling and use of x-ray and other related equipment’s, and related software
- Explain the procedure to patients and answer any questions to ensure comfort and cooperation
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the equipment's technical capabilities and limitations
- Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and self
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, local regulations, and best practices in radiologic safety
- Conduct daily checks of fixed X-ray equipment to ensure functionality and safety
- Report equipment malfunctions promptly and collaborate with the biomedical engineering team for repairs
- Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures, including patient information, images taken, and radiation exposure details
- Ensure patient privacy, dignity, and comfort during imaging procedures
