Exciting Opportunity: Pharmacy Assistant with Dr. Ziauddin Hospital

Dr. Ziauddin Hospital is looking for a skilled Pharmacy Assistant to join their team. This role is crucial in dispensing medications accurately in a fast-paced pharmacy environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, assisting customers, and maintaining organized operations within the pharmacy department.

• Preparation of Dispensed Medications
• Assisting in all customer relations aspects
• Must have Intermediate (Science) with Dispenser Diploma
• 4-5 years of experience in the specific field

• In-depth knowledge of medications and their properties

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receives written prescription or refill requests and verifies that information is complete and accurate
• Receives and stores incoming supplies, verifies quantities against invoices, and inform supervisors of stock needs and shortages
• Ensures medicinal products are stored appropriately and securely to ensure freshness and potency
• Implements all safety regulations on a daily basis for own safety and safety of others
• Transfer/move medicines from one satellite pharmacy to another satellite pharmacy
• Ensures all documentation is retained in an organized manner as per the retention policy of the pharmacy
