Government Career Opportunities: Individual Consultants for IFRAP Project
The Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives (MoPD&SI) is actively seeking qualified individuals to serve as individual consultants for the World Bank-funded Integrated Flood Resilience and Adaptation Project (IFRAP). - Environmental Safeguards Specialist: Requires a Master's degree in relevant fields with a minimum of seven years of post-qualification experience in environmental management and safeguards.
- Social Safeguards Specialist: Requires a Master's degree (or sixteen years of education) in Sociology, Anthropology, Rural Development, or Social Policy, with a minimum of seven years of experience in social safeguards for large-scale development projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide expert consultancy services in environmental safeguards
- Ensure compliance with World Bank/ADB/IsDB, Government, or other donor-funded projects operational policies
- Conduct monitoring and quality assurance of environmental safeguard instruments
- Provide expert consultancy services in social safeguards
- Ensure compliance with Social Safeguard Policies and other related standards
- Conduct monitoring and quality assurance of social safeguard instruments
