Duties and Responsibilities:

• Register for the Higher Education Aptitude Test (HAT)
• Select the correct HAT category aligned with university admission requirements
• Prepare for the test covering English/Verbal, Analytical, and Quantitative reasoning sections
• Ensure all personal details are accurate during registration
• Submit the application within the specified deadline
• Pay the required test fee through the designated payment service
• Download the Roll Number Slip before the test date
• Attend the test at the selected major city centre
• Achieve a qualifying score of 50 out of 100

• Application Submission: Ensure that your application is fully SUBMITTED. Applications saved in incomplete mode will not be considered.
• Queries and Complaints: All queries or complaints must be resolved before the registration deadline to avoid issues with your application submission.
• Personal Information Accuracy: Carefully verify all personal details, including your name, CNIC number, and cell number, before submitting your application. Discrepancies between your CNIC and application data will prevent you from sitting for the test.
• Fee Payment: The test fee can be submitted via 1Link/1Bill Invoice payment service. After generating the consumer number, proceed to deposit the fee through your bank or online payment gateway. Verify your payment status on the ETC Dashboard.
• Fee Details: The test fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Roll Number Slip: Download your Roll Number Slip from http://etc.hec.gov.pk before the test date.
• Test Centre Selection: Applicants can select their preferred test centre from the available options during the application process. Note that the ETC reserves the right to assign another test centre if the minimum applicant threshold is not met.
• Test Category Selection: Choose the test category that best aligns with your subject or area of specialization. Once selected, the test category cannot be changed.
• Communication: All important updates regarding the issuance of Roll Number Slips will be communicated via email or SMS to the registered contact details. Ensure you provide valid email and mobile numbers.
• Required Documents on Test Day: A printout of your Roll Number Slip and your Original CNIC/Passport will be required on the test day.
• Prohibited Items: Mobile phones, electronic devices (calculators, recording devices, communication devices, imaging devices) are strictly NOT ALLOWED inside the test centre. Taking, uploading, or sharing images of the question book is also prohibited and subject to disciplinary action.
