Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients in OPD, IPD, ER, ICU, or specialty units
  • Propose a diagnosis based on history, examination, laboratory, and imaging data
  • Develop and implement treatment plans under Consultant supervision
  • Perform clinical procedures within scope of training, specialty, and credentialing
  • Participate in ward rounds and case discussions; ensure timely and accurate patient documentation
  • Respond to medical emergencies and code blue situations, escalate complex cases to Consultants appropriately
  • Provide on-call coverage as per duty roster
  • Stabilize patients and coordinate referrals when required
  • Coordinate with nursing and allied health teams for patient care and continuity of treatment
  • Counsel patients and their families and obtain informed consent for their treatment
  • Monitor patients' progress and modify treatments as their conditions evolve
  • Ensure the allocation of appropriate time and resources for all patient care processes and procedures
  • Provide Clinical guidance and ensure adherence with hospital Clinical guidelines and SOPs
