  • Evaluate patients, taking complete history and performing physical examinations
  • Conduct daily ward rounds
  • Record patient progress in HMIS
  • Seek advice from senior team members
  • Provide pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative care
  • Manage laboring patients and perform vaginal deliveries
  • Assess and manage patients in the ER
  • Administer certain medical procedures as advised by Consultants
  • Liaise with nursing staff regarding patient progress
  • Discuss medications on discharge and write a discharge summary
  • Maintain patient confidentiality
  • Provide medical attention to staff and visitors
  • Comply with hospital policies and procedures
