  • Offer primary care to women of reproductive age
  • Deliver essential newborn care, conduct well-baby clinic visits, and perform neonatal resuscitation
  • Administer vaccinations and other trained interventions like IMCI and circumcision
  • Counsel and educate women, families, and the community on relevant health topics
  • Provide non-surgical family planning methods and counseling for surgical options
  • Obtain specialized assistance and manage referrals effectively
  • Share knowledge and expertise with midwifery, medical, and nursing students and staff
  • Perform administrative duties such as patient charting, recording, and reporting
  • Participate in research, professional organizations, and related committees
  • Adhere to established health center policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Participate in the provision of 24-hour maternity services, including potential evening, night, or on-call duties
