Key Positions Available:

  • Unit Head - Govt. FC Assignment Accounts & Fund Management (OG-I / AVP)
  • Asset Liability Officer (OG-II / OG-I)

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a recognized university.
  • Relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Minimum 04 years of banking and/or financial sector experience for Unit Head, and 03 years for Asset Liability Officer.
  • Experience in MIS, Portfolio, Risk Assessment, Treasury, or Balance Sheet Management is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and strong analytical skills.
  • Understanding of SBP regulations and banking law.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To maintain record of financial transactions, ensure reconciliation of financial records and entries
  • To keep track of funding settlements and dealings maturities
  • To keep track of inflow and outflow of funds to manage the funding flows
  • To prepare future business projections / financial planning of branches through liquidity and performance trends
  • To prepare treasury dashboards and summary reports for management
  • To ensure compliance with internal financial controls and procedures with regard to funding activities of International Branches
  • To compile MIS for financial transactions and its analysis pertaining to international branch positions
  • To collect balance sheet and daily liquidity reports on daily basis and prepare analysis for review of management
  • To compile investment, placement & borrowing statements of IFRG branches for analysis and submission to the management
  • To monitor the asset & liability profile of international branches and ensure maximum utilization of available funds for enhancing their bottom line
  • To assist Wing Head Fund Management Wing in compiling monthly reports for asset liability committee related to key balance sheet items of international branches that include deposits, borrowings, advances, placements & investments along with the maturity profile of assets & liabilities and the reasons for variations therein
  • To coordinate in development of international branch budget with MIS section of IFRG and subsequent financial planning
  • To maintain record of financial transactions
  • To compile MIS for financial transactions and its analysis pertaining to international branch positions
  • To ensure reconciliation of financial records, entries and reconciliation with counterpart banks
  • To collect profit information from branches and ensure profit repatriation in line with SBP Governance Framework
  • To collect Risk management reports from international branches, its compilation and submission to SBP
  • To collect placement reports from branches and its compilation
  • To collect borrowings report from branches and its compilation
  • To collect investment reports from branches and its compilation
  • To manage deals with international institutions and support external funding arrangements
  • To compile, validate, and analyze monthly data from international branches and maintain management dashboards
  • To prepare presentations and reports using data analysis tools, PowerPoint, and dashboard models
  • To handle queries from ministries, regulators, SBP and other stakeholders relating to FC Assignment Accounts and facilitating the arrangement of NOC of SBP for local branches
  • To ensure compliance with foreign exchange regulations and maintain proper records
  • To perform any other assignment as assigned by supervisor(s)
