Essential Requirements:

• Extensive experience in GIS, IT infrastructure, and data management.
• Proven track record in disaster risk management and financial analysis.
• Strong accounting qualifications and expertise in financial software.

Skills

• Minimum 16 Years of Education in GIS & RS, Geo-informatics, Spatial Data Science, Hazard/ NatCat Risk Modeling, GIS Development, and Programming, or related field of study
• Minimum 08 to 10 years of professional experience with a minimum of 03-05 years' industry experience in managing data centers or large-scale GIS/RS based risk assessment projects
• Expert in GIS/IT/SDI infrastructure, operating systems, configurations, and IT applications
• Prior expertise of similar projects (at least 5 years) in managing GIS / Spatial Data Centers and expert knowledge of Web-GIS, Mobile-GIS, AI, and ML applications
• Minimum 16 Years of Education in Geoinformatics, Computer Science, GIS Development and programming or related field of study
• Minimum 06-08 years of professional experience with minimum 02-03 years of relevant expertise
• Must have completed a minimum of 03 landmark national and international projects of similar nature
• Expert in developing intuitive user interfaces and interactive visualizations for the dashboard using WebGIS technologies, such as JavaScript libraries (e.g., Node.js, Leaflet, Open Layers), mapping third-party APIs (e.g
• Google Maps API), and data visualization tools (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js)
• Master's degree in economics, finance or any other related discipline
• At least 08 years of experience of working in disaster risk management, with some level of exposure to designing financing instruments to reduce the impacts of disasters
• At least 5 years of managerial experience, heading a team with proven strong leadership and communication skills, and ability to work cross sector and lead interdisciplinary teams
• Experience in Insurance Industry will be an added advantage
• Chartered Management Accountant/Chartered Accountant/ACCA Qualified or MBA (Finance) from a HEC recognized university
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience in a reputable chartered accountant firm, large public or private sector organization
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Expertise in SAP FICO module management will be an added advantage

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of the NatCat Data Centre
• Oversee GIS development and programming activities
• Lead technical team in data center management
• Coordinate with stakeholders for GIS projects
• Develop and implement disaster risk financing strategies
• Analyze financial instruments for disaster impact reduction
• Lead teams in disaster risk management initiatives
• Manage accounting operations and financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Provide expertise in SAP FICO module management
