Skills

• Expertise in SWIFT Messages creation, verification, and authorization in both legacy MT and ISO formats
• Acceptable knowledge of the SBP FE Manual guidelines on cross border remittances
• Familiarity with all the components of SWIFT Alliance Access

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure and supervise that all the messages creation requests received from the Islamabad region AD Branches are being routed on time without any anomalies after appropriately checking the financial entries and posting of FET after customer account debit
• Handle the messages creation in ISO 20022 formats effective November 2025 and must be well versed in the ISO 20022 messages creation scope
• Supervise inward messages printed in SWIFT Center Islamabad are being disseminated to relevant AD Branches with proper record retention and MIS
• Keep records against all processed messages at SWIFT Center Islamabad
• Coordinate with SWIFT Center Karachi for resolution of the queries raised by the internal audit and external audit team along with onsite field audit queries regarding activities of SWIFT Center Islamabad
• Manage MIS for all the Outward messages transmitted from SWIFT Center Islamabad with all mandatory fields of the SWIFT Messages
• Responsible for the reconciliation of the messages and coordinate with the Sanctions advisory team at Head Office if any RFI generated for outward messages processed from SWIFT Center Islamabad
• Able to supervise the SWIFT Messages after analysis from the regulatory perspective and as per FE manual guidelines
• Perform any other assignments as assigned by the supervisor(s)
