Skills

• Collect blood and other specimens according to the doctor’s request
• Maintain all equipment used in Phlebotomy
• Be responsible for the cleanliness of the collection of data
• Maintain stock used in Phlebotomy
• Properly manage sharp disposal
• Collect blood from the wards on time
• Generate IRS and confirm the collection
• Reject samples on certain criteria prescribed in SOPs

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Weekly stock maintenance
• Monthly maintenance of analyzers according to Maintenance Procedures
• Communicate with the supplier’s Biomedical Department and Engineers if any error/problem occurs in any analyzer
