Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations for recovery patients (pre and post)
• Receive patients and verify consent forms for accuracy
• Ensure correct patient information and authorized signatures on consent forms
• Facilitate smooth patient transfer to pre-operative recovery, attach monitors, and manage pre-operative care
• Assist in post-procedure recovery, receiving patients from OR with specimens
• Perform cannulation in the recovery room and administer fluids as needed
• Monitor and confirm patient's dietary status and NPO times
• Coordinate patient shifts to the OR, adhering to all protocols and ensuring proper handover to Technicians / Senior Technicians
• Update patient history and details on the HMIS
• Facilitate patient transfers from recovery to wards, following protocols and ensuring proper handover to ward staff
• Execute all tasks assigned by the supervisor / Head of Department
