Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise, monitor, and operate the complex via SCADA reliably and efficiently under the direct supervision of the Shift Charge Engineer
• Assist the Shift Charge Engineer in maintaining close liaison with ISMO/RCC/NGC, 132kV Dadyal & Kotli Grid Stations for all necessary activities regarding switching operations and plant status
• Assist the Shift Charge Engineer in tackling emergency situations
• Identify and report plant defects, ensuring defects are reported as soon as possible and liaising with the maintenance section
• Provide technical input on the safe and efficient operation of the plant, especially during the restoration of supply after station blackout or system collapse
• Assist the Senior Charge Engineer in the submission of daily station generation, plant tripping reports, declarations, and re-declaration reports to NPCC
• Prepare daily operational logs and assist the senior shift charge engineer in preparing fault/tripping reports/ DIR/ IIR
• Ensure the operation of the complex within technical limits as per SOP/PPA
• Undertake any other non-routine work assigned as per instructions of OM/ HOD
