We have an immediate opening for the post of Technologist - Hematology. The job location is Karachi.

Analyze laboratory findings, including hematological analysis of blood and body fluids (CSF and special hematology tests)
Calibrate and operate all instruments in the Hematology Lab
Run quality controls on a daily basis, review LJ plots, run EQA, and interpret results
Inform all abnormal results to the concerned doctor/consultant/staff and ensure proper storage of such samples
Issue reports, reject or repeat tests as required based on SOPs
Perform daily consumption of inventory and maintain stock of kits, consumables, and data
Conduct weekly/monthly maintenance of analyzers and coordinate with suppliers’ Biomedical Engineers in case of errors

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive hematological analysis of blood and body fluids
Ensure accurate calibration and operation of all hematology laboratory instruments
Execute daily quality control procedures and interpret results effectively
Communicate critical abnormal findings to medical staff promptly
Manage laboratory inventory and maintain adequate stock levels
Conduct routine maintenance of laboratory analyzers
