Duties and Responsibilities:
- To meet assigned targets in terms of customer portfolio yield, including ancillary business and deposit mobilization
- To manage key relationships with existing and potential clients in corporate sector with a view to business and widening the portfolio
- To develop business through marketing of structured products tailored in line with the specific requirements of customers and clients
- To introduce new corporate customers as per assigned targets and make periodic visits to the sites and submit call reports to the management
- To work in partnership with all product partners and stakeholders and execute client business and maximize returns to the Bank
- To effectively monitor risk and keep abreast of market developments to ensure proactive or remedial actions to maintain quality of risk in line with the Bank's credit policies and procedures
- To ensure quality of credit proposals, this includes facility structure, industry analysis, company analysis, credit analysis, facility review, customer analysis, spreads and projections etc
- To ensure that the highest professional standards of services are provided to Bank's corporate customers with an end to secure both new business and to deepen the existing business relationships
- To prepare routine business call reports, offer letters, sanction advices and other internal and external correspondence as and when required
- To guide, train, develop and motivate a team of Relationship Managers to attain business objectives, improve the quality of credit assessment, creating a learning environment and assess their training needs
- To ensure compliance with all regulations (including State Bank of Pakistan's Prudential Regulations) requirements
- To perform any other responsibility as assigned by the supervisor(s)
- To assist Wing Head – CMD to implement the business strategy, responsible for client / business origination and coverage, as well as achieve sales / business targets, in terms of the number of clients and as well as the revenue generated
- To manage management opportunities with existing CIBG / other NBP clients and work in internal business partners and stakeholders, including client coverage, product development and solution delivery
- This will be achieved through maintaining extensive knowledge of available products, services, fees, operational procedures, and processing deadlines as they relate to the impact on customer transaction posting
- To assess customer needs and recommend appropriate accounts, services, and processing deadlines
- To ensure that the highest professional standards of customer services are provided to NBP's customers with an end to secure both new business and to deepen the existing business relationships
- To manage the development and mature Cash Management deals, and product and solution delivery managers
- To work closely with Relationship Managers in attaining optimized service charges, deposit and non-interest income goals through strategic pricing proposals that deliver value to the client
- To facilitate Wing Head and Divisional Head - CMD in constant product innovation by updating processes and procedures to enhance the customer's experience
- To achieve the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) assigned in terms of asset book building, cross-selling, including FX, Trade Finance, and other products & services offered by the Bank
- To monitor risk effectively and keep abreast of market developments to ensure proactive or remedial actions are taken to maintain the desired level of risk in line with the Bank's overall policies & procedures
- To monitor the performance of the cash management business unit and prepare periodic reports on its overall performance to ensure deviation are identified, reported in a timely manner, and that actions are set annual action plans
- To coordinate with Internal Audit Teams, External Audit Teams and SBP Inspections of the Regional Corporate Center
- To prepare monthly / quarterly / annual budgets of the Regional Corporate Center
- To prepare relevant MIS packages / decks (of varying frequencies as appropriate) used for effective business monitoring and tracking plan / targets
- To conduct analysis on customer profitability and monitor business targets up till the level of relationship manager, account-wise, etc
- On a monthly basis for onward submission to senior management of the Group / Region
- To maintain HR related correspondence with the Strategy & Business Planning Division and coordinate with Human Resources Wing - CIBG
- To provide insights and analysis to the capability gaps and staff related issues
- To ensure timely training of staff to improve their professional capabilities and to provide them with the necessary office equipment's to get their jobs done efficiently
- To maintain NBP's internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit recommendations along with addressing any matters raised by external regulators
- To coordinate with the Strategy & Business Planning Division and Analytics & Compliance Division for preparation of various reports
- To facilitate Regional Corporate Center and Head Office regarding important & confidential reports and preparation of presentations to senior management as and when required
- To assist Regional Corporate Head in the matters pertaining administrative and / or human resource and coordinate with Human Resources Wing - CIBG
- To perform any other responsibility as assigned by the supervisor(s)
