Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement region-specific strategies for recovery of Overdue + Infected portfolio
• Develop and implement a strategic plan to maximize recovery and ensure regulatory compliance of branches under jurisdiction
• Supervise field teams and ensure timely follow-up on defaulted accounts
• Proactively identify and assess risks associated with delinquent accounts
• Knowledge of recovery procedures and regulations
• Presentation of Loans Portfolio to Management
• Ability to liaison with Divisions/departments and have excellent communication skills
• Coordinate with legal for cases under litigation, including recovery through courts or other legal means
• Monitor overdue accounts and initiate timely recovery actions as per regulatory and bank guidelines
• Conduct regular field visits of customers with overdue loans and infected portfolio to secure Recovery/collection
• Follow-up overdue accounts and initiate timely recovery actions as per regulatory and bank guidelines
• Track record of managing recovery at Regional/Area level
• Liaise with local administration and law enforcement agencies
• Train and build capacity among branch staff on recovery procedures and systems
• Monitoring and Implementation of Strategic Plan
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to infected portfolio and stay updated on regulatory changes
