Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist Directorates Law & Prosecution Customs in preparing legal submissions and representation in appellate forums
• Conduct legal research on complex tax matters
• Review and advise on notices, replies, and orders issued under tax laws
• Support FBR officials in litigation and legal risk management
• Prepare periodic reports on legal proceedings and outcomes
• Liaise with field formations on legal matters
• Assist in the systematic review and classification of pending litigation
• Draft settlement proposals and assist in negotiation strategies for ADR cases
• Plead cases before High Courts, ATIR, CAT, and FTO
• Perform other legal tasks assigned by the concerned Directorates of Law & Prosecution Customs
