Skills

• Strong knowledge of UI/UX, Web technologies, Databases, and Open source systems (JS, PHP, Python, MySQL, Postgres)
• Hands-on experience with higher education LMS/CMS platforms (Custom LMS/CMS, Moodle, WordPress, etc.)
• Good communication skills with ability to train faculty/staff and coordinate with higher management, faculty and within the IT department
• Strong proficiency in motion graphics design and video editing
• Expertise in industry-standard software, including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and at least one 3D software application
• Solid understanding of the video production process
• Ability to organize and manage timelines, workflows, and multiple post-production tasks
• Familiarity with production equipment such as cameras, switchers, and audio mixers
• Strong team management and coordination skills
• Proficiency in: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut Pro, Audio tools (Adobe Audition or equivalent)
• Strong Understanding of: Video Editing, Video formats, codecs, and compression, Color grading and audio engineering basics and Motion graphics
• Familiarity with LMS-based video delivery is a plus
• Proficiency in relevant software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS) and other IT-related systems
• Provide technical support and training to faculty and staff on IT platforms
• Coordinate with IT department and higher management on system upgrades and implementations
• Create and edit high-quality video content for various platforms
• Design and produce motion graphics for promotional and educational materials
• Manage the entire video production workflow from pre-production to final delivery
• Operate and maintain production equipment such as cameras, switchers, and audio mixers
• Coordinate and manage production timelines and project deliverables
• Manage and maintain library resources and services
• Assist students and faculty with research and information retrieval
• Catalog and organize library materials
• Provide technical support for biomedical equipment
• Perform maintenance and repairs on biomedical devices
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
• Manage and maintain dental equipment and instruments
• Assist dentists during procedures
• Provide patient care and support
• Maintain dental records and documentation
• Perform sterilization and infection control procedures
• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Operate various hand and power tools safely and effectively
