• Strong expertise in WAN technologies (MPLS, SD-WAN, VPN, Hybrid WAN)

• Good understanding of SDWAN technologies and concepts
• Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and secure network design principles

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implement, manage, and optimize WANs within the organization
• Design, implement, and manage secure WAN architectures including MPLS, SD-WAN, VPN, and hybrid network solutions
• Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls)
• Manage and enforce SD-WAN policies including application-aware routing and secure overlay networks
• Lead network segmentation strategies using VLANs, VRFs, and micro-segmentation techniques
• Collaborate with ISPs and vendors for WAN circuit provisioning, troubleshooting, and SLA compliance
• Maximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems, scheduling upgrades, and collaborating with network architects on network optimization
• Report network operational status by gathering, prioritizing information, and managing projects
• Lead incident response for WAN outages and security incidents
• Troubleshoot routing and switching problems
• Implement and operate Layer 2 and Layer 3 metro networks, ensuring reliable connectivity
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to network engineers and support teams
• Coordinate with vendors for opening of service requests or typical issues requiring vendor support
• Perform and maintain regular backups of network devices to ensure configuration integrity, disaster recovery readiness, and business continuity
• Configure and implement new features available on network devices in accordance with business requirements
• Undertake any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)
