Prime Minister's Office Announces Government Job Openings in Islamabad

The Prime Minister's Office, through its Board of Investment (BOI) and the PMU (CPEC-ICDP) project, is offering significant career opportunities for qualified individuals in Islamabad. These government sector positions are available on a contract basis, focusing on the "China Pakistan Economic Corridor Industrial Cooperation Development Project." We are seeking dedicated individuals for various roles, emphasizing merit and experience. The project requires expertise across several domains, including management, IT, analysis, and administrative support. Key Job Positions and Requirements:

  • Deputy Director (Industrial Cooperation) (PPS-08): MBA/MPA/Masters in Management Sciences with at least 05 years of experience, especially in Special Economic Zones (SEZs) and familiarity with CPEC and Industrial Cooperation frameworks.
  • System Analyst (PPS-08): Master's or equivalent degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering with 7 years of experience in Web-Development/Software Development, including backend and frontend web technologies.
  • Assistant Director SEZ (PPS-07): MBA/Masters in Economics, Management Sciences, MS Project Management or BSc Engineering with at least 3 years of experience in public sector or reputable private firms, focusing on development/infrastructure projects.
  • IT Expert / Graphic Designer (PPS-7): BS (Software Engineering) or equivalent with 05 years of experience in Web-Development, Graphic Designing, Software Development, proficient in Drupal, Laravel, Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop.
  • Media & Publication Officer (PPS-08): MBA/MPA/Master in Management Sciences, MS Project Management, MA Mass Communication, Journalism or equivalent with minimum 5 years of professional interpreting experience and good command of English.
  • Project Coordinator / Research Officer (PPS-07): MBA/MPA/Master in Management Sciences, MS Project Management or equivalent with higher qualification preference, and at least 03 years of experience in the relevant field.
  • Interpreter & Liaison Officer (PPS-07): Graduate with Interpreter diploma/certificate and good expertise in Chinese & English language interpretation. Master's degree in Chinese language will be preferred. Minimum 03 years of professional Chinese-English interpreting experience.
  • MIS Analyst (PPS-06): BSCS/BS IT/Masters in Project Management (Certification in Management Information System/GIS would be preferred) with min. 03 years of experience as Business and/or Quality Assurance Engineer.
  • Executive Assistant (PPS-06): Minimum graduation or equivalent with computer proficiency or regular APS of public sector with 5 years of experience in relevant field and expertise in MS Office.
  • Data Entry Operator (PPS-05): Minimum Graduation from a recognized university with at least 05 years of experience in the relevant field.
  • Driver (PPS-02): Matric with valid LTV/HTV driving license. This position represents excellent job openings in the region. Individuals having additional skills will be preferred. Must have Rawalpindi/Islamabad domicile. 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Dispatch Rider (PPS-02): Matric with valid motorcycle rider's license and a clean driving record. Must have Rawalpindi/Islamabad domicile. Proven experience of official mail/documents handling as a dispatch rider or in a similar delivery role.
