Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise patients requiring hemodialysis under the guidance of the Head of Nephrology or designated faculty
  • Manage patients requiring temporary or lifelong hemodialysis
  • Fulfill all prerequisites for hemodialysis, including consent, welfare, angio-access, counseling, and prescription
  • Conduct necessary investigations for hemodialysis patients
  • Perform temporary angio-access on patients in coordination with the Infection Control department
  • Implement all standard operating procedures within the hemodialysis facility
  • Initiate cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in cases of sudden cardiovascular collapse
  • Assess patients across various settings for the need of hemodialysis
